Scale Up Solutions ("we," "us," "our") operates scaleupsolutions.asia and the tools available on it, including the Cambodia Company Registry search, the redundancy/termination pay calculator, and our contact and chat tools (together, the "Services"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you provide directly. If you use our contact form, chat widget, or redundancy calculator's "email me the workbook" feature, we collect what you type — typically your name, email address, company, and message content, or the calculation inputs you enter (contract dates, salary, dismissal type).
- Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — this collects standard usage data (pages viewed, general location, device/browser type) via cookies. You can opt out using your browser's Do Not Track setting or a Google Analytics opt-out extension.
- Public registry data. Our Company Registry search tool displays information sourced from Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce public business registry. This is public government data, not personal data we collect from you.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to inquiries submitted via our contact form or chat widget.
- To generate and email you the workbook you requested from the redundancy calculator.
- To follow up with you about our accounting, bookkeeping, and automation services, where you've expressed interest through one of our tools.
- To maintain an internal record of business inquiries and leads in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- To improve our website and tools based on aggregate usage patterns.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Services — our hosting provider (Cloudflare), our email provider (Microsoft 365), and analytics provider (Google Analytics).
- Legal requirements, if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.
4. Data retention
We keep contact and lead information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain our business records, or until you ask us to delete it.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing joe@scaleupsolutions.asia.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across our Services. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
7. Third-party links
Our Services may link to third-party websites (e.g. QuickBooks, external resources). We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties — please review their own privacy policies.
8. Children's privacy
Our Services are intended for business use and are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
